What can you expect?
A True Hands-On Experience
This is not a demonstration. You’ll actively participate in every step of the soapmaking process, from formulation to pour, learning the fundamentals along the way.
Small Group Setting
I will unlock a step-by-step food and garnish selection system that will simplify your styling process.
Traditional Techniques
You’ll be guided through time-honored soapmaking methods using quality ingredients, with an emphasis on process, patience, and craftsmanship.
A Finished Product to Take Home
You’ll craft four full-size bars of soap during class. After curing in the workshop for four weeks, your soaps will be professionally packaged, labeled, and shipped to you in a premium gift box.

Robert Marshall is a veteran and master craftsman based in Bozeman, Montana. After returning home from combat, he turned to making as a way to slow down, rebuild, and create something meaningful with his hands.
What began as a personal practice grew into years of refinement, teaching, and craftsmanship. Mountain Crafted is an extension of that journey, sharing the process, discipline, and quiet satisfaction that comes from making something real.

Under the guidance of master craftsman Robert Marshall, you’ll:

No experience is needed. This workshop is designed for beginners and those simply curious about the craft.
Yes. All tools, ingredients, safety equipment, and materials are included.
Workshops run approximately2 hours.
Each session is limited to 8 participants to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Aprons and safety gear are provided.
Your soaps will cure in the workshop for about four weeks. Once ready, they’ll be packaged and shipped to you.
All workshops take place at our studio in Bozeman, Montana. Location details are shared after registration.

Maker Check-In
After the workshop, each participant receives a 30-minute one-on-one Maker Check-In with Robert Marshall.
